Pus From Wisdom Teeth

"Stereo Total" new album out in Spanish. We are the mods

Remember that album "ABBA sings in English," in which the acclaimed Swedish quartet revised some of his hits the lyrics translated into English? Well, STEREO TOTAL have refined this idea. What could have been a record of the most winners of the Berlin-based duo revisited in our language (more than once have shown their passion for singing in various languages, including French, German, English, Italian, Turkish and Japanese) has ended up also including a small but amazing collection of versions (another of his passions, and yes, in Castilian), most of them exquisitely selected from English pop songs of recent decades. And after more than 15 years giving addictive pieces of the best Electro-pop (With a touch of Punk, Disco, New Wave and Garage), Françoise Cactus and Göring Brezel could not deal differently with a stealthy and agile look back: unprejudiced, with a mischievous attitude and above all hugely entertaining and enjoyable. So take the revision of songs like "No control" OLE OLE (composed by Nacho Cano for what was the group's first single in 1983) also title track, "I'm going to be a mom" Almodovar and McNamara, "C'est fini" LA CASA AZUL to punk, or hidden, available on CD version of the album, "A ray of sun" LE MANS!.

It is surprising to hear these songs oozing through the filter STEREO TOTAL and sung in our language with that French accent, not far behind the translation of his own songs like "I love the love of three." The album goes on sale on 16 November.
